For the comfort and flow of the studio please remove your shoes upon entering, have all electronic devices turned off or completely silenced, take any phone calls outside and finish calls outside before entering, only have needed props, clothing and water in the area to practice yoga. Styles and classes: I teach each class to all levels. I adjust the class to meet the needs of the students in each class
Hatha A set of physical postures and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open channels of the body including the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely Vinyasa Style Yoga is a steady dynamic flow of connected yoga asanas (poses) linked with breathwork in a continuous movement Kundalini A beautiful blend of dynamic breathing techniques, chanting mantra, and physical movements Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues such as the ligaments, bones, and even joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice, such as Vinyasa. Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga with asanas that are held for longer periods of time, 3 to 5 minutes, or sometimes even longer. Restorative Yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. Yoga Nidra is a "yogic state". Lucid sleeping is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. Meditation is the means of transforming the mind.
I can accommodate and make modifications for pregnancy, injuries, and seniors I teach to the class so Beginners and up are welcome. Yoga can be healthy and therapeutic for pregnancy.
